Internship week 15

Its the 15 week and its the second week of crunch time so I must be a ghost and lock it down to pullout a win the commercial is finally done so now with that being said I just have to finish with the rest of my classes. it will not b easy but its coming together and Im not backing down. For me its finish or die either way Its not over till its over. All I can do is keep going but I know that things could be worst but I gotta push check out the commerical I hope it is to your likeing.

Internship Week 10

Its the tenth week of internship the good news is with all the hours I put in Im getting an A and Im over 200 hours. As soon as Im done with internship Im going 2 pass out but I have to catch up in my homework stear clear of any distractions. Its the only way to for this semester to count for the last semester. I know that things are going to turn around for me but that depends on my me

I know that media is what I want to do there's no reason not to get paid for doing something I love to do. I can't sit in a cubical for the rest of my life. If not for my family then I have to do this for me.

Internship Week 9

Its the ninth week of internship my commercial for capstone is coming together. If its good enough Ms Ash and Ms haruun may use it which is a good thing for me. this gives me a chance to put myself out their if they use my commercial for the media department. So as of right now Im excited about doing this commercial for my project. Other people that I 've worked with are excited because this gives them a chance to be in the commercial. Im also excited about my internship hours because I will get the A I wanted I just have to focus if I do everything right I can boost my GPA just have to execute and focus.

Internship Week 8

Its the eighth week of internship things have been up and down this week but on the bright side of things my skills in media our getting better my creativity has gained new growth. The only thing to work on is juggleing better but after working so many hours in internship its been rough but I just have to try harder to plan and execute what I need to do to do what I want to do.On the other hand I know after I get my associates Im taking a semester off to breathe so I can come back strongger better faster more agile more creative.

Internship Week 7

This the seventh week and I find that things are turning around for the better slowly but surely. I find that I being out in the field working in the field getting footage or or taking pics. I also gaining new ideas for my production company website. Since I've started internship I've been working on putting my budget together for the equipment I will need for my company. Internship has been interesting and has giving me something to look forward to. This week I shot the health care, a interview and a class project for broadcasting performance. So far I have no complaints only a wish to pass out on my photon.

Internship Week 6

This is the 6 week and I can honestly say that working with Deborah Crable has its advantages. Its given me a chance to perfect my craft in photography, video editing audio engineering. I also come across some new ideas for what I want to do. Ive started working on my website and which is going to help put myself out there and my skills out in the open. I'm getting all my footage of everything Ive shot, edited, produce, or participated in. Im working on doing another air check to get my voice out their for a possible radio show.

Internship Week 5

Its the fifth week of internship and Im starting to find my groove to adapt like I usually do. Im now working with my old teacher Deborah Crable. So far Ive been at events taking pics and got to meet people that my teacher knows. Working with Ms. Crable has been a great experience for me and has givien me more of a reason to push and market myself more than ever. This internship is helping me bring new ideas to the table. Also talking with Ms. Haaruun has giving me something to look forward to as far as how I can market myself.

Internship Week 4

Its the fouth week of internship and Im close to finding a solution to balance my hours in the lab and at WYCC. While working with WYCC I spilt my hours working with one of my teachers I had class with. Which works better for me because I can mange my homework better and keep up with my hours as lab tec in the lab. On the other hand I now have an opportunity to perfect my skills in media by working on the WYCC'S website. Also Megan from WYCC has found a way to help me make up my hours by doing research on the weekend for topics to talk about on their show "The Professors".

Internship Week 3

Its the third week on intern Im finding it difficult to balance my hours working in the lab and WYCC channel 20. Internship is 300 hours total 20 hours a week 5 hours a day but Im only getting paid for working as a lab tec in the lab. So now Im forced to juggle which is no problem because we all have had to juggle in life period. Working with channel WYCC is great but time is money and money is time so I must regroup and come up with a plan. So far I've learned how to log in episodes for shows which is something I can use down the line. I've come to realize that being a lab tec has had its advantages and has allowed me to use my skills to help others that need help in media. Now Im waiting for a chance to use my skills at WYCC to really push me out there.

Internship Week 2

The second week of internship forced me to use my orginization skills. So by now you've guessed it orgainizing paper in order. While I was doing this I came to realize the reason why staying calm under pressure is important when performing task. Lets just say that I was going for time efficency but when you start off doing a task sometimes you don't realize that you could've performed the task better until you start it. You suddenly realize you coulda did the task better and faster the first time.

Internship Week 1

The first week of internship was at wycc channel20. While interning there I had the privilege of working with professionals in the tv world. Though I knew that I wouldn't be working on a production right away but I knew it would be a experience I would never forget. When I started I had the pleasure of shredding papaer the first day. Its funny because when they told us to pic a job that we wanted to do I picked shredding they said that shredding is not the easyist job but I manage to get the job done even though the I had to work with one garbarge bag until they brought the garbage bags.
